Pairings, results, hobby scores and awards for tabletop wargaming events. Your players open a link on their phones. No app store needed.
Results come in from both players, Warhost.App pairs the next round, and you stop chasing slips around the room.
Players can always see pairings, never repeat an opponent or table, and get credit for their hobby work.
Narrative weekends, club nights, store leagues, campaigns and any game system, with a site of your own instead of a listing in someone else's app. Running a ranked event? Hand your results on in one download.
Players open a link on their phone. You get an admin panel that does the boring parts. See every page in the live demo.
Players sign up on your event site and get their player number by email. Sell tickets there too, through your own Stripe account, with no fee from us: you keep everything except Stripe's card charge. Or sell elsewhere and enter players yourself. Your call, per event.
Round 1 is random or seeded, followed by Swiss pairings with no rematches and no repeated tables or missions. Optional two sided events pair opposite sides when numbers allow.
Both players report after each game, with no paper slips to collect. Matching reports confirm the result, and mismatches are flagged as disputed for a judge to settle.
Players rate their opponents from 1 to 10 on painting and conversions, lore and fluff, army list creativity, and sportsmanship. They also rate the table terrain and the mission.
Warhost.App calculates Best General, Best Painted, Best Fluff, Most Creative List, Best Sportsmanship, and an overall award blending generalship with hobby scores. You set the weights.
Each profile shows a player's side, faction, bio and uploaded army list. A public players page lists the whole field.
A projector view rotates pairings and standings in large type, and the round clock you start from the admin counts down on every player's phone.
Win-loss, 3/1/0 or 20-0 battle points, tiebreakers in the order you want, late-entry rules, team standings, and a list lock before round one.
Import a CSV from Best Coast Pairings, Longshanks or a ticket platform, print number slips with QR codes, and email everyone their number in one click. When it is over, download results, pairings and a rankings entry sheet in the layouts the ranking bodies and the big pairing apps use, so posting to Longshanks or BCP is a copy and paste, not a retype.
Update the story page between rounds and set a mission for every table. A running war tally shows which side is ahead. Standings stay sealed until you reveal them.
Give your event its own site with your logo, colors and theme. Open registration so players sign up and pay there, or add them yourself. Add your story, missions and sponsors, and players get profiles with their army lists.
Warhost.App builds Swiss pairings each round, with table rotation and no rematches. Players report results on their phones, and any mismatch is flagged for you to settle.
Standings stay sealed until you reveal them, so the room finds out together. Hobby scores and awards are calculated automatically.
Pick your game and the site arrives dressed for it: colors, type and a hero image that fit the setting, with no publisher logos. Change the theme, swap in your own image or set an accent color from the admin. Tap a card to see it full size.

Shown on a sample event. The event name, logo, tagline and dates are yours.
One price per event, built from your player count, or one flat price for a whole season. Every event includes its own site, your logo, colors and theme, and a full data export at any time. Your site builds itself the moment you pay, so there is no lead time and no rush fee. Not sure yet? Click through the live demo, or run a free practice event for up to eight players.
Then $5 a player up to 150, $4 a player after that, and never more than $999 for one event.
A tournament site for your events, twelve included, one at a time, and a league site for your weekly night. Need more? Add events or another league site for $99 each. Your players keep one home all year.
Start a seasonA branded hub page with the schedule, venue, hotel, sponsors and a single registration page, and a site of its own for every event you run that weekend, each with its own game and theme. You pay the $99 base once, then $4 a slot across the whole pool instead of $5, $3 past 150, capped at $999 for the whole convention.
Book a conventionRunning a narrative campaign, a league across several events, or something that needs features of its own? Talk to us about a custom build.
Any tabletop wargame. We built it first for a Horus Heresy narrative event, but nothing in it is tied to one system.
Yes. The Scores tab downloads your results as a spreadsheet with every player's final standing and each round's opponent, result, points and table, in the layout ranking bodies and the big pairing apps use, plus a round-by-round pairings sheet and a JSON copy. Once you make scores public the same sheet is available at your site's address for anyone who needs it. Your event is also listed in the Warhost.App events directory so players can find it.
No. Warhost.App is a web app, so players open your event site in their phone's browser.
After each game, both players report the result on their phones, and the game is confirmed when the two reports match. If only one player has reported, the game counts but shows as waiting for the opponent. If the reports disagree, the game is automatically marked disputed, does not count, and shows up red in the organizer's admin panel until a judge sets the result.
Yes, you run the event, not the software. From the admin panel you can set or override pairings, results, sides, factions and scores, settle disputes, and decide when to reveal the standings.
You do. You can download a full backup of your event data at any time, during the event or after.
Yes. Every event gets its own site with your logo, colors and theme, at an address like yourevent.warhost.app. If you already own a domain you can point it at the site as well; see the next question.
Whenever you like. Your site builds itself the moment you pay and is usually live within five minutes, so there is no lead time and no rush fee, even the night before. Booking earlier just gives you more time to brand the site, write your story and mission pages, and send the link to players. Only custom builds, such as a convention with several tournaments, need a conversation first.
Yes. Open registration from your admin and players sign up at your site's /register page, pick a faction, and get their player number by email; you can approve each one by hand if you prefer. To sell tickets, connect your own Stripe account from the same tab (a few minutes, and Stripe handles the sign-up) and set a price. Players pay Stripe directly into your account, you refund from your admin or your Stripe dashboard, and Warhost.App takes no fee on tickets, only Stripe's normal card processing charge applies. If you already sell through a store or another site, just enter players yourself.
With two sites. The league site runs your weekly night as one long event: a round each week, Swiss or random pairings, standings growing all season, with a bye for anyone who misses a week. The tournament site runs your monthly events one at a time; when one finishes you start the next from the admin, and the finished one is filed under Past events with its results and awards, feeding the season table. Twelve events a year are included; more are $99 each, and a second league site is $99.
Yes, that is the Convention option. You get a hub page with your branding, schedule, venue, hotel and sponsors, one registration page selling every event's ticket through your own Stripe account, and a separate site for each event with its own game system, theme, pairings and standings. You pay the $99 base once, then a lower convention rate of $4 a slot across the whole pool ($3 past 150, capped at $999); a player who enters two events uses two slots. Slots move between events from the hub admin as sign-ups come in.
Yes. Export the player list as a CSV from the other app (or from your ticket platform or a spreadsheet) and import it from the Players tab. Columns are matched by their headings, so name, faction, team and email all come across, and players with an email address can be sent their number in one click.
Yes. We do not register domains, but if you already have one (or buy one at any registrar) you can point part of it at your site: from your admin's Settings, enter a host name such as events.yourclub.com and add one CNAME record at your DNS provider pointing it at sites.warhost.app. The certificate is issued for you within minutes and the site answers at both addresses. Use a subdomain unless your DNS provider supports CNAME flattening on the bare domain. Included with Season and Convention sites; a one-time $19 on a single event.
Every organizer with a live site gets a referral code. Another organizer who uses it at checkout gets 10% off their first order, and 10 player slots are added to your site each time it is used. The code is in your welcome email.
Buy more player slots from the Players tab of your organizer admin. They are priced on the same curve as the event, $5 a player up to 150 and $4 after that, so adding players later never costs more than ordering the bigger site would have, and the slots are live on your site the moment payment clears.
Your site is its own service with its own database, built from a tested release and retried automatically if a deploy fails, with your data on durable storage and a backup you can download at any time. If something still breaks, the Help tab in your admin has an event-day flag that reaches us straight away, on our phones, and the printable slips and sheets let the round continue on paper. If your site is down for more than 30 minutes during your event through a fault of ours, that event is refunded in full. Live checks are on the status page, and the refund terms are on the policies page.
Two ways. The live demo is a full event with twenty fictional players and an open organizer admin. Or build a free practice event: a real site of your own for up to eight players, live in minutes, yours for two weeks, no card needed.
Warhost.App needs an internet connection. Phones on mobile data work fine, so players do not have to rely on the venue Wi-Fi. If mobile signal is weak too, fall back on the printable slips and sheets and run the round on paper.
We are Pathfinder Marketing, a small marketing and software shop in Austin, Texas. We first built Warhost.App for Warzone Houston, a 40 player, 20 table, 5 round Horus Heresy narrative event.
Then other organizers asked for the same thing. Warhost.App is our answer: one tool for any game system, a site for every event, and data that stays with the organizer. We look after the software so you can look after your players.
Add players in bulk, share the link, and keep standings hidden until you are ready to reveal them. We will set up a demo site for your event and walk you through it.
